I've never heard anyone use the word "zekerheid" when talking about security. Verzekering, zekering, zekeren. Sure, but those are all pretty ___domain specific. No one hires a "zekerheidsagent" to secure their building, or an expert in "cyber zekerheid".
The first one seems problematic -- does it mean what it seems to suggest? all conversations are "public" ?? Do users know this going in? i am afraid they could be pasting lot of private or confidential stuff without realizing this.
It's great because it gives politicians a foreign enemy to deride, generates lots of online engagement, doesn't impact people's lives in any meaningful way, and when it's implemented, it's only visible to people in the country ordering the rename.

> "Apple Intelligence" meant whatever Apple marketing wants it to be.
Now "GPT 5" is also a marketing term. You are paying for the abstracted experience and brand. Not a specific model or defined capabilities anymore.
Seems like an apples to oranges comparison (pun not intended). The term Apple Intelligence was introduced for the new service/product. GPT<n> has a history of standing for something (a specific model).
Author Oliver Burkeman discusses this marshmallow test in his book Meditations for Mortals.
Paraphrasing from memory -
Who is to say that stockpiling as many marshmallows as you can is inherently more virtuous or objectively more positive than enjoying one marshmallow in the moment you and the marshmallow are ready for each other.
"Now" is the one moment you are truly alive. Rest is a concept.
I recently read the book Meditations for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman.
Resonates a lot with my experience and struggle with trying to stay productive.
I may not have learnt any new skills from this book but at least feel a tad bit more at peace with things as they as and as they unfold.
