Another company that is in the same space: http://www.farmlink.com/true-harvest.html They provide benchmarking data for farmers to understand how their yield compares to other farmers.

Could you elaborate on the bad experiences? And any idea which class it was?

Looks like all their international locations are gone.

They claim 15 data sources but I wasn't able to figure it out. Anyone know what the sources might be?

One of the app authors here; The Weathertron uses the backend API provided by the forecast.io guys (who also do the DarkSky app).

I also recommend using mitmproxy to get the YQL query from the Yahoo weather app. Lots of good info in that query.

Interesting note: CBS Sports app is developed by a Kansas City, MO mobile development company called Handmark.
