Assembly Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy will be presented with the California Rifle and Pistol Association�s Outstanding Legislator Award during the group�s 130th anniversary banquet on Saturday in Irvine. McCarthy said. �My son and I recently went hunting together, enjoying an activity that is truly part of our national heritage, and I will continue working to preserve the Second Amendment rights of all conscientious gun owners and sellers.�

Establishes a national standard for the carrying of concealed firearms (other than a machinegun or destructive device) by non-residents. Authorizes a person who has a valid permit to carry a concealed firearm in one state and who is not prohibited from carrying a firearm under federal law to carry a concealed firearm in another state:
