Faculty Research Areas
Our department encompasses vast and pluralistic research interests with particular strengths in the following areas: the history of philosophy (Ancient, Medieval, Early & Late Modern, and 20th Century Analytic & Continental), philosophy of religion, philosophy of race, cognitive science (including moral psychology and philosophy of mind), political philosophy, philosophy of science, and Continental philosophy (especially Heidegger, Kant, Deleuze, and Marx).
