KASTRI (“Batiae”) S Epeiros, Greece.

Probably a colony of Elis (Strab. 7.7.5 and FGrH 115 [Theopompos] F 206). A limestone outcrop is ringed with a circuit wall ca. 2100 m long. Gateways and towers are visible.
