Fisher, Redwood S. 1782-1856

Statistician; born in Philadelphia, Pa., in 1782. Edited a New York daily newspaper. He wrote The progress of the United States of America from the earliest periods, Geographical, statistical, and Historical, and was editor of a Gazetteer of the United States. He died in Philadelphia, Pa., May 17, 1856.
