Good Order.

--Although we have just passed through the most exciting election that has taken place within our remembrance, there has been no interruption of the peace of our city. The crowds that assembled at the various news points yesterday to learn the result, seemed good-natured, if they were not satisfied, and we have not heard an angry word uttered by anybody. The city presents an example of good order, even in the midst of the greatest excitement, which all communities would do well to imitate.
