--The great "snaik" seen in Silver Lake, Wyoming county, N. Y., three years ago, and described in such grand style in the papers of Western New York, as to attract thousands to the lake, proves to have been made of India rubber.--The Buffalo Commercial says: ‘"The manner in which it was worked has not as yet been found out; but it is hoped it will soon come to light, and the origin and complete success of one, if not the best, 'sell' that was ever got up in this or any other country may be discovered."’
