--Daniel McClelland was released from the City Jail on Thursday, on his own promise to lead a temperate, sober life, after a period of incarceration for habits of vagrancy. Intending to take passage per steamer Schultz for the distant regions of James City, he journeyed towards Rocketts, and there fell among those whose blandishments he could not resist. He drank, trespassed on a citizen's premises, fell into the hands of the police, and was yesterday sent back to his old quarters.
