Humans treatment of soldiers.

--In Washington, a few days ago, while a company of regulars were marching past the Treasury building, one of the men appeared completely exhausted, and could with difficulty make his way along. A Lieutenant of the company struck him across the shoulders to accelerate his speed; and this not seeming to have the desired effect, gave him yet a more violent blow, which threw the poor man upon the pavement with such force as to destroy one eye against a projecting stone, and left him senseless on the ground. The company then marched on, leaving the unfortunate man in that condition.
