The Polish Brigade.

--This is is the accepted name of one of the splendid Louisiana regiments, raised by the exertions of that noble old patriot, Major G. Tochman, now encamped at Griffin's Spring, near this city.--The Colonel, V. Sulakowski, is a Polander by birth. He graduated at the celebrated military school of ‘"Theresianum,"’ in Austria. He served for six years in the regiment of Austrian Grenadiers, and subsequently served with great distinction in the Italian war of 1848, and in the Hungarian war of 1849.--Since Col. Sulakowski has been in this country, he has been a civil engineer in Louisiana for the last ten years. Most of the privates are Americans, Irishmen or French. All but three of the officers are Americans, among them several natives of old Virginia.
