Under the orders in these cases, entered the 5th of May, 1862. I am directed to ascertain the named of the officers and crew of the said steamer
Saint Nicholas, at the time of the capture of the said schooner
Margaret, and of the said schooner
Mary Pearce, and the names of all other persons who may have been aboard the said steamer at the time of the capture aforesaid, and aiding and assisting in said capture, and the rank and nature of the services, as for as can be ascertained, rendered by each--first giving in the Richmond
Dispatch for at least ten days, and that he make report to the
Court with all convenient speed.
