Jackson's achievements in the Valley.

The result, so far as known, of ‘"Stonewall"’ Jackson's recent achievements, has been the quantization of an army of 12,000 of 15,000 men, the capture of an amount of provisions, ordnance stores, small arms, horses, wagons, camp equipage, almost incredible, and last though not least, the possession of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad, the main artery which connects the Yankee capital with the West. It was currently reported yesterday that Jackson had crossed the Potomac at Williamsport, and was marching his army into Maryland.
