Mayor's Court, Saturday, Dec, 20th.

--Recorder Caskie presiding.--The only case worth mentioning before the Court to- day, was that of James Hodge, a boy twelve years old, dressed in a Lieutenant's uniform, who was charged with purloining a pistol from Lewis G. S. Spence at the Richmond House. He was sent on for examination before the Hustings Court. This lad came from Louisiana with the troops from that State and has been since his arrival in Virginia in more battles than he numbers years. He is very respectably connected, though none of his friends happened to be in Court when he was arraigned for the offence above mentioned.
