Gen. Lee at Vicksburg.

--The Gen. Lee who figured so conspicuously and effectively at the late battle of Vicksburg, is Stephen D. Lee, a native of South Carolina, who was Lt Lieutenant in the 4th- regiment of U. S. Artillery before our present troubles, but who promptly left that service and east his fortunes with his native South. Gen. Lee has been recently appointed to the office he now holds. He was appointed a Second Lieutenant in the 4th U. S. Artillery on the 1st July, 1864.
