Mayor's Court, Thursday, May 28th.

--None of the cases before this Court to-day were examined into. Hosea Pitt, charged with behaving disorderly at the Theatre, was let off. The following parties were sent to jail for examination before the Mayor to-day, viz: William Perry and Jos. Young, charged with stealing a silk dress, one velvet cloak, one silk wrapper and calico dress, all of the value of $150, the property of Mary A. Smith; Jacob Freyfogle, for shooting and killing a youth, named George Leathers, in Screamersville, on Wednesday afternoon; Ann, slave of R. W. Brownwell, for stealing wearing apparel from Caroline, slave of R. F. Morris, of the value of $20; Susan, slave of Bridget Kelley, no pass and a supposed runaway; Mary F. Lilley, for injuring the infant child of Julius Schultz; Elizabeth Lilley, a free negro, for being unprovided with a certificate attesting her freedom, as required by law.
