--The Hustings Court yesterday granted a large number of persons licenses to keep "ordinaries," which means, in fact, the privilege of selling liquor by the glass. There are many in the city who have not yet made application, among them most of the prominent hotel-keepers. They would do well to apply before the close of the present term, as otherwise they will be liable to indictment by the Grand Jury, which meets on the second Monday in January next.
