παρὼν § 17 παρόντος τούτου καὶ ἀντιδικοῦντος.

ἀδικεῖσθαι viz. by a wrong decision of a public arbitrator. —ἐφιᾶσιν, bring the matter by appeal before the Heliaea. Cf. § 17 ἐφῆκεν.

ταύτης sc. τῆς διαίτης. ‘If he nevertheless abided by, or acquiesced in it, though, according to his own account, it was unjustly given against him.’
