Ten dollars Reward.
--Ran away from the subscriber, about the day of last May, a Negro woman, named Eliza.
She is about 22 years old, of rather brown complexion, rather under the usual height, with pt limbs and an ugly scar on (I think) the left side of the face apparently from a burn -- This woman has been in the habit of living in
Richmond and washing with free negroes, as I understand, and may be harbored by them. -- There are also women belonging to her owner living close at the
Second Market, who, I understand, hire their own time, norwithstanding the law. One of the same is a yellow woman, calling herself
Fanny White.
Eliza also has acquaintances around the Basin banks and near the
Mesrs Haxall's Mills.
Eliza was hired from
Mr. Cocks agent, under the
Exchange, and belongs to
a Mr. Thompson, near Short Pump,
Henrico country, and at one time was seen there.
