C. D. Yancey, a native of
Bedford county, Va., died in New Orleans on the 4th instant.
Charles Moncure, a native of
Richmond, Va., died in
Plaquemines Parish, La., on the4th. Alluding to the death of
Mr. Yancey, the
Delta says, editorially:
New Orleans loses by this death almost enterprising, high-spirited and energetic citizen.
