Altering a passport.

--Capt. Byrd Snow, of co. C, 21st N. C., was arrested yesterday by Detective Boyd, of Major Griswold's office, for altering the date of a passport and attempting to leave the city by its authority. He was reprimanded on the impropriety of the proceeding and discharged from arrest.
