Vermutung: et tu centurio, miles, quibus . . donatus <es, donis abiectis (occultatis) furtim urbem inibis? (oder discedes?）>, woran sich dann die Aufforderung anschlofs: at, quae senatus decrevit potius, quam <quae> Ser. Galba fabulatur (so vermutet HJM.), audi (= ‘höre auf . .’). et hoc . .] hier ist die Form des Ausdrucks mit potius quam . . audi beibehalten; zu dicere audi, wofür Mg. und Wfsb. dicentem verlangten, vgl. Cic. in Verr. 4, 50. 62. 70 und oft; Wfsb. war aufserdem der Ansicht, dafs dieses audi aus dem Vorhergehenden wiederholt sei. Htz. vermutet: et hoc adicere (oder dicere) <me decet (oder oportet）>: me potius . . audi. Mg. liest die ganze Stelle ohne Annahme einer Lücke folgendermafsen: et tum, centurio miles <que> . ., [p. 111] donatus es, decreta potius, quam quid Ser. Galba fabularetur, audisti, et hodie me potius . . audi.
